Welcome to the New Jersey State Steering Committee Web Portal

To my Sisters in Council, Associates and Friends.

I am honored to welcome you to the State of New Jersey - NCNW Web Portal.  A first in New Jersey the NCNW Portal is a place where you can find out what is happening around the State for each of our sections.  This portal has information on statewide membership drives and leadership conferences that will help grow your sections.  Through participation in these events, you will gain valuable knowledge and information to not only grow your sections but also manage it successful.

Most importantly, you will have access to 12 thriving sections, the New Jersey Life Members Guild and the growing collegiate sections.  You will learn the history of each section, their commitment to the National Council of Negro Women, Inc., and the NCNW programs that are implemented within their communities.  You will see activities around their fundraising events that sustain and support not only their Sections but also our National Headquarters.

I hope that you will come back often to our Portal and check out what is happening around the state and support us in our endeavors on issues that impact our community and African-American women and their families.

Membership Drive

leadership program

The ‘HAT’titude Tea Party was held on November 19, 2016 at the Gran Centurions in Clark, New Jersey.  This celebration was the culmination of a statewide, successful membership drive.  A total of 108 new members were recruited.  The top four Sections that recruited the most members are: Raritan Valley—23, Tri-County—19, Rahway—15 and Roselle—12.  Most notably, a new section was formed—the Tri-County Section (covering Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties).

Congratulations to all the Sections that participated in this event!

You can pay for the Leadership Conference by clicking on the ‘Pay Now’ button or mailing your check to the Registration Committee at the address indicated on the flyer.
